Smishing On the Rise

We've recently learned of a new scam involving fraudulent text messages being sent to ATM/Debit Cardholders.
The SMS message claims to be from the credit union and informs them that their card is blocked. Upon calling the phone number provided (1.866.350.0629) it requests an account number. It is unknown at this time whether this occurence is limited to a specific region.
