There’s a good chance our share savings account will pay you higher dividends (interest) than other financial institutions. Dividends are paid on average daily balances of $50 or more, compounded quarterly. Choose from a Single Account, allowing only the member to make transactions; Joint Account permitting the primary owner and joint owner(s) to make transactions; or Family Account with separate account numbers for various family members.
Share Certificates are longer-term investments that pay higher dividends than regular Share Savings Accounts. They are available for a minimum investment of $500 for terms from 6 to 36 months.

Planners Club Accounts were established to provide a systematic method of saving for a particular purpose, such as Christmas, vacation, or taxes. Unlike traditional club accounts, your funds are available to you without restriction. Checks for the account balance are distributed to the member upon request.
This service protects you from the possibility of bouncing a check. It authorizes the Credit Union to transfer funds from your Share Savings Account to your Share Draft (Checking) Account to cover any overdraft. This means if you write a non-sufficient funds (NSF) draft, FASNY FCU will transfer the necessary money to cover the check, provided you have sufficient funds in your Share Savings Account.
You can have your net paycheck, retirement checks, Social Security checks, or other recurring payments automatically deposited to FASNY FCU. Your money will be distributed to your credit union accounts at your discretion. We would be happy to help you set up this convenient service through your payroll office.
